Custody and Visitation

The rights of the child and parental rights are the first priorities in custody and visitation issues. A mother or father should be allowed to see their children. They have the right to provide them with the financial support they need without going into financial ruin. I will represent your rights as a parent as we seek a solution that is reasonable to both sides. Even after a decision is rendered, either in mediation or by a judge, I can help you modify a judgment if circumstances change.

Mediation

Mediation not only provides a more cooperative setting to discuss and resolve family-related issues, it is also a more affordable option for many clients. Litigation is time-consuming and can be a drain on your financial resources. A decision on divorce from a judge is too uncertain and unpredictable to risk a costly and potentially damaging legal battle unless there is no other option.

My credentials include recognition as a Certified Mediator with the University of Connecticut Labor Education Center and the Quinnipiac Center on Dispute Resolution.
