Mediation vs. Trial
Whether the parties in a divorce are able to work together or have a contentious relationship, it is my job to get to the facts. I will assess the case and consult with my client on the ideal strategy, including the options of mediation or trial. When children are involved, I encourage couples to mediate and reduce any long-term emotional damage to the family. In addition, trial can be an expensive and time-consuming option. Mediation can also establish a stronger financial future for the divorcing parties.
Accessible and Responsive
At the law firm of John C. Valliere, I know the importance of responding quickly to prospective and existing clients' needs. A common complaint from my prospective clients is that other attorneys did not return calls in a timely manner, if at all. All calls to my office are usually returned within one business day, most sooner. I am constantly in communication with my clients and remain accessible whenever possible.
Many times, my clients have time constraints that don't allow them to travel to me. I will save you that time by coming to you, even making off-site, early evening and weekend appointments.
